Metropolis II is currently on display at the LA County Museum of Art; a 20 by 30 ft kinetic sculpture created to represent modern day cities. According to the artist, ”The noise, the continuous flow of the trains, and the speeding toy cars, produces in the viewer the stress of living in a dynamic, active and bustling 21^st Century city.” I’m not sure you need to go to a museum to experience that, but regardless, this looks pretty cool.
