Music genres have gotten so ridiculous, but the Music Matrix at least lets you have some fun with it. Searching a band name on Music Matrix will produce a heatmap of tags of the artist’s genre on Last.fm. Here’s what comes up when you search the Black Keys. Clicking an overlap of tags, such as “garage rock” and “alternative” will show you a specific song by the artist that matches both tags. Have at it!
