Eat and Drink in NYC/BK

Dine Out Irene is an event on September 25 in NYC and Brooklyn where participating restaurants will be donating 10% of their sales to Just Food and GrowNYC to aid New York area farmers who have been affected by Hurricane Irene. Check out the list of participating spots here (they’re insanely good). This is an awesome way to help your local farmers, and feel good about pigging out. It’s also New York Craft Beer Week starting tomorrow, featuring brews by favorites like Abita, Brooklyn Brewery, Dogfish Head, Ommegang, Sixpoint, Victory and lots more. There’s tons of events, tastings, and special deals going on all week; all excellent excuses to get together and get your drink on.
